Job Summary
Oral Surgery Dental Assistant providing chairside support for oral and maxillofacial procedures (extractions, implants, grafting) and IV sedation cases; monitor vitals intraoperatively and post-anesthesia; maintain aseptic technique and OSHA/HIPAA compliance; prepare and break down operatories; perform dental radiographs and CBCT imaging per PA regulations; deliver pre- and post-operative instructions and charting; support multi-location surgical team in West Chester, Kennett Square, and Wayne, PA.
Required Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong understanding of surgical instrumentation, sterilization, and infection control
- Ability to work efficiently and confidently in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Excellent chairside manner with a calm, professional demeanor
- High attention to detail, strong clinical judgment, and ability to anticipate surgeon needs
- Team-oriented, dependable, and adaptable
