Job Summary
Oral Surgery Assistant to support the oral surgeon by passing instruments, assisting with anesthesia and IV sedation, taking radiographs, charting medical histories, preparing treatment rooms, monitoring vital signs, maintaining operatory inventory, sterilization, documenting treatment, and providing post-operative care instructions. The role includes travel between Morganton and Hickory offices and requires OSHA-compliant infection control, CPR certification, X-ray certification, DAI certification, and at least 2 years of chair-side experience in oral surgery, dental, or periodontics.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- DAI Certification
- X-Ray Certification
- CPR Certification
- 2+ years of chair side experience, preferably in oral surgery, dental, and/or periodontics.
