Job Summary
Oral Surgery Assistant needed to support the oral surgeon during general anesthesia and IV sedation, prepare treatment rooms, take and record vital signs, transfer instruments, monitor IV fluids, perform radiographs, prepare prescriptions, maintain supplies and sterilization, document procedures, provide post-operative care instructions, and ensure patient confidentiality in a fast-paced, team-oriented Asheville dental office.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of chair side experience, preferably in oral surgery, dental, and/or periodontics
- Relevant experience in the dental, medical, or nursing field is preferred
- DAI Certification
- X-Ray Certification
- CPR Certification
