Job Summary
Diagnose and treat diseases, malformations, and injuries involving the head, face, jaw, neck, and sinuses while performing extractions, biopsies, bone grafts, sinus surgeries, and orthodontic support procedures. Provide varying levels of anesthesia including local, nitrous oxide, minimal, moderate, and general anesthesia. Serve as a resource for other practitioners regarding medically and surgically complex patients and coordinate schedules to ensure exceptional patient access and care continuity. Review dashboard data, specialty referrals, and EV Reports to ensure adherence to treatment philosophy and strategic goals. Maintain Nitrous Oxide credentials, BLS certification, and compliance with OSHA, FDA, ALARA, and PPE policies. Work 4-10 hour shifts with guaranteed earnings of $250,000–$300,000 and projected annual compensation of $520,000–$$560,000.
Required Qualifications
- Degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), and/or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
- Successful completion of a traditional pre doctoral dentistry program
- Valid licensure in the specific state(s) where practicing
- Licensed as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
- Licensed as a Doctor of Medicine (MD), when applicable
- DEA registration
- Maintenance of BLS certification
- State board's equivalent of a minimal sedation permit
- Appropriate certifications to support the provider's anesthesia permit (ie, ACLS, PALS)
