Job Summary
Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region, including diseases, injuries, and defects. Perform surgical procedures such as extractions, impacted third molars, dental implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgery treatments on both hard and soft tissues. Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients requiring surgical intervention and collaborate with general dentists and specialists to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate patient records, educate patients on procedures and post-operative care, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Requires a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree, CODA-accredited residency, and active dental license. Full clinical autonomy within a supported practice network.
Required Qualifications
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of a 4- 6 year CODA-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
- Active and unrestricted dental license
- Ability to administer local or general anesthesia
- Board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Ability and willingness to become credentialed with various dental insurance plans
- Availability to attend periodic virtual training sessions (or in-person when required) throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
