Job Summary
Perform extractions, alveoloplasty, and other dentoalveolar surgeries while providing in-office sedation as permitted by state license. Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe patient care, document clinical findings in digital charts, and maintain infection control protocols. Work in modern facilities with digital radiography and scanners, serving a steady population of military families, veterans, and federal employees. Schedule includes 1-2 Saturdays per month with no after-hours or on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program
- Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility
- Active, unrestricted state dental license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- DEA license (if performing sedation or prescribing medication)
- Ability to pass background screening, drug testing, and obtain Real ID for base access
