Job Summary
Oral Surgeon position (1099 contractor) in Lemont, IL with Nuvia Dental Implant Center. Typical surgical hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 7am, with two days per week and potential for more. Responsibilities include performing dental implant surgeries including extraction and alveolectomy, collaborating with restorative doctor for treatment planning, examining and diagnosing patients, and delivering comprehensive notes. Requires DDS/DMD from a U.S. accredited dental school, post-graduate surgical certificate, unrestricted active dental license in IL, DEA registration, ACLS and BLS certifications, and ability to obtain malpractice insurance. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a U.S. accredited four year dental school (DDS/DMD) required
- Post-graduate of a U.S. surgical program with certificate to practice Oral Surgery
- Unrestricted, active dental license in state of operation
- DEA registration
- Current ACLS AND BLS certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance
- Experience with All-on-X procedure
