Job Summary
Part-time Oral Surgeon needed at Midtown White Plains, NY. Responsibilities include patient examination, data analysis for treatment planning, collaboration with dental specialists, administering general and local anesthetics, performing surgical procedures to extract teeth, place implants, remove tumors, and aid in regeneration of bone and gum tissue; maintain patient records; prescribe medications; provide patient education; contribute to team efforts; 17.50 hours per week with no weekends or overnights; benefits include comprehensive health insurance, PTO, 401(k), life insurance, and holidays. Requirements: DDS or DMD, NY license, 4-6 years residency, board-certified in oral surgery, current BCLS, strong communication, hand-eye coordination, and calm under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- Current NY State Dental License
- 4 -6 years of residency training
- Board certified in oral surgery
- Current BCLS certification
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Detail oriented
