Job Summary
Diagnose patients and develop treatment plans for oral and maxillofacial conditions; perform scheduled and emergency surgeries; prepare patients for dental implants; remove wisdom teeth and dental roots; remove tumors or abnormal growths; administer anesthesia (regional/local/general) as needed; collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans; maintain and monitor patient records; provide thorough aftercare; demonstrate empathy, excellent communication, and adaptability to time-sensitive situations; requires a Doctor of Dental Surgery/Medical Dentistry degree, board certification, and licensing; flexible working hours for this part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a similar area of study
- Doctor of Dental Surgery or Medical Dentistry degree
- Certificate from The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- License to practice
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
