Job Summary
Full-scope oral/maxillofacial surgical care in a brand-new Meridian practice with SALT Dental Partners, including extractions (including impacted third molars), dental implants with bone grafting, exposure and bonding, IV sedation and general anesthesia cases, treatment planning, informed consent, collaboration with referring dentists, accurate documentation, and active participation in marketing/referral development during ramp-up; opportunity to grow from part-time to full-time with a built-in referral network and operational/administrative/marketing support
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Active or eligibility for Idaho dental license
- Active DEA registration
- Permit for administration of IV sedation/general anesthesia in Idaho (or ability to obtain)
- Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in practice growth and referral development
