Oral Surgeon (DDS/DMD) – Part-Time to Full-Time Growth Opportunity

Job Summary
Join a brand-new, state-of-the-art oral surgery practice in Meridian, ID opening in early fall 2026. Lead the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including extractions (including impacted third molars), dental implants and bone grafting, exposure and bonding procedures, IV sedation and general anesthesia cases. Develop treatment plans, obtain informed consent, collaborate with referring dentists, and maintain clinical documentation. Engage in marketing and relationship-building with referral partners during ramp-up. Flexible start with growth from 2 clinical days + 1 marketing/referral day per week to 4 days per week as volume grows. Strong operational and marketing support from SALT Dental Partners and a built-in referral network from local pediatric practices. Requirements: DDS/DMD, completed OMFS residency, Idaho license eligibility, active DEA, IV sedation/GA permit (or ability to obtain), board certification or eligibility preferred, BLS/ACLS/PALS (or ability to obtain). Exceptional communication, patient-centered care, and willingness to participate in practice growth.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Active or eligibility for Idaho dental license
- Active DEA registration
- Permit for administration of IV sedation/general anesthesia in Idaho (or ability to obtain)
- Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Willingness to participate in practice growth and referral development
