Job Summary
Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures (including extractions, dental implants and bone grafting) with IV sedation and general anesthesia, evaluate patients and develop treatment plans, collaborate with referring dentists, maintain timely clinical documentation, and participate in marketing/referral development during ramp-up; contribute to compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards while building a ground-floor practice with SALT Dental Partners.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Active or eligibility for Idaho dental license
- Active DEA registration
- Permit for administration of IV sedation/general anesthesia in Idaho (or ability to obtain)
- Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in practice growth and referral development
