Oral Surgeon (DDS/DMD) – Part-Time to Full-Time Growth Opportunity

Job Summary
Oral Surgeon position in a brand-new Meridian, ID practice opening fall 2026 with SALT Dental Partners. Responsibilities include a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures (extractions including impacted third molars, implants and bone grafting, exposure and bonding, IV sedation and general anesthesia cases), patient evaluation and treatment planning, informed consent, collaboration with referring dentists, accurate clinical documentation, and active involvement in marketing and referral development during ramp-up. Must hold DDS or DMD, complete OMFS residency, Idaho dental license (active or eligible), active Idaho DEA registration, and IV sedation/general anesthesia permit (or ability to obtain). Board certification/eligibility preferred; current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications (or ability to obtain). Excellent communication skills and willingness to participate in practice growth and referral development. Part-time to full-time growth opportunity with an initial schedule of 12 days per month (approx. 2 clinical days + 1 marketing/referral development day per week), progressing to more clinical days as patient volume grows.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Active or eligibility for Idaho dental license
- Active DEA registration
- Permit for administration of IV sedation/general anesthesia in Idaho (or ability to obtain)
- Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in practice growth and referral development
