Oral Surgeon (DDS/DMD) – Part-Time to Full-Time Growth Opportunity

Job Summary
Oral Surgeon needed to join a brand-new Meridian, ID practice opening fall 2026, supported by SALT Dental Partners. Role includes performing a full scope of oral and maxillofacial procedures (extractions, implants with bone grafting, IV sedation/general anesthesia), evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, obtaining informed consent, collaborating with referring dentists, maintaining documentation, and participating in marketing/referral development during ramp-up. Initial schedule is 12 days per month (about 2 clinical days plus 1 marketing/referral development day per week), with growth to 3–4 clinical days per week and a clear pathway to full-time. Competitive compensation with operational/marketing support and a built-in referral network from local pediatric practices.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Active or eligibility for Idaho dental license
- Active DEA registration
- Permit for administration of IV sedation/general anesthesia in Idaho (or ability to obtain)
- Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in practice growth and referral development
