Job Summary
Part-time Oral Surgeon for Midtown NYC providing surgical dental care including implants, extractions, tumor removal, and regeneration of bone/gum tissue. Responsibilities include patient examination, data analysis for treatment planning, consulting with dental specialists, administration of general/local anesthetics, maintaining patient records, prescribing post-procedure medications, instructing patients on preventative care, and contributing to team efforts. Requires DDS or DMD, NY license, board certification in oral surgery, and 4-6 years residency; 17.5 hours/week with benefits; no weekends or overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- Current NY State Dental License
- 4 - 6 years of residency training
- Board certified in oral surgery
- Current BCLS certification
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Outstanding hand-eye coordination and dexterity
