Job Summary
Oral Surgeon sought for a part-time Friday position in a well-established Heartland Dental-supported practice in Florida. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating conditions of the oral and maxillofacial region, performing surgical procedures (extractions, impacted third molars, dental implants, bone grafting), developing and presenting treatment plans, collaborating with general dentists and specialists, maintaining thorough patient records, educating patients on procedures and postoperative care, administering general and local anesthesia, and adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards. The role offers full clinical autonomy, a strong referral network, advanced technology and administrative support, and opportunities for ongoing professional development and long-term growth. Preference for a candidate with D.D.S./D.M.D., CODA-accredited residency, active/unrestricted license, and board eligibility/certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Required Qualifications
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school
- Completion of a 4–6 year CODA-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
- Active and unrestricted dental license
- Ability to administer local or general anesthesia
- Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
