Oral Surgeon Assistant

Assist the Oral Surgeon at the chair during patient treatments, anticipating next steps and managing all aspects of care. Take dental x-rays as directed, including developing procedures, while ensuring infection control protocols are followed. Maintain proper patient treatment records, provide pre and post-operative and oral hygiene instructions, and build rapport with patients and staff. Turn on all units, stock supplies in oratories and restrooms, and inform the Floor Supervisor of supply needs or equipment malfunctions. Perform sterilization duties when necessary and ensure OSHA, Dental Board, and WDS policies are strictly followed. Must possess a current radiation safety certificate, RDA certification, and CPR/ACLS credentials; bilingual ability and willingness to travel are required.
