Job Summary
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon opportunity at VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. Responsible for diagnosis, surgical treatment, and management of diseases, injuries, and defects of the oral and maxillofacial region for veterans. Performs procedures including extractions (including impacted wisdom teeth), management of maxillofacial trauma, treatment of oral pathology (tumors, cysts), and pre-prosthetic surgery for dental rehabilitation. Collaborates with ENT, oncology, prosthodontics, and anesthesiology; documents in VA EHR; participates in credentialing and quality assurance; provides education and supervision to dental residents and medical students; engages in continuing medical/dental education; supports veteran-centered care and emergency/on-call coverage. Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm.
