Job Summary
Oral Health Therapist with Adult scope sought to join Maven Dental Port Lincoln on a full-time basis. Responsibilities include dental hygiene assessments and treatments (scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications), take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays), place stainless steel crowns and remove deciduous teeth within scope of practice, assist in the management of dental emergencies and support a range of clinical procedures, maintain accurate patient records, educate patients on oral health and preventive care, build strong patient relationships, adhere to infection control standards, stay current with emerging dental technologies and best practices through ongoing professional development, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture while benefiting from relocation support and CPD opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified and experienced Oral Health Therapist with Adult scope, registered to practice in Australia
- Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain)
- Ability to work within Australia
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dental team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing patient records and treatment plans
