Job Summary
Full-time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS) at UNM joining an interdisciplinary team to provide and oversee surgical services, including oral/head and neck pathology, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, dentofacial deformities, TMJ pathology, and implant surgery. Appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with potential tenure track; responsibilities include resident education and training, trauma call at UNMH Level I trauma center, contributing to clinical, educational, and research activities, and building the OMFS residency program with participation in the cleft lip/palate craniofacial team. Requires CODA-accredited DDS/DMD, completion of a full-scope OMFS residency, OMS board certification or active candidate, and eligibility for licensure in New Mexico; preferred experience with residents and full-scope OMFS practice, plus commitment to diverse communities of New Mexico.
