Job Summary
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon sought to join The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Elmhurst Health system as part-time positions (16 hours and 24 hours per week) in a growing orthognathic, bone regeneration, and implantology program. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive OMFS surgical care (orthognathic, bone regeneration, implantology), supervising and mentoring residents and students, utilizing operating room privileges for complex procedures, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, participating in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities, and supporting community service and hospital mission. Candidates must have a DDS or DMD, be board eligible/board certified, hold a valid NY State License, DEA, and Medicaid number, demonstrate strong clinical abilities and teaching experience, and may have opportunity for a faculty appointment; compensation ranges from $124,800 to $187,200 excluding on-call and faculty distributions.
