Job Summary
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon sought for part-time engagement (16 hours and 24 hours per week) at Elmhurst Hospital Center, affiliated with Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Responsibilities include comprehensive OMFS care with emphasis on orthognathic surgery, bone regeneration, and implantology; supervising and mentoring OMFS residents and students; utilizing operating room privileges for complex procedures; collaborating with interdisciplinary teams; participating in departmental meetings, quality initiatives, continuing education, and community service. Ideal candidate will have strong clinical abilities, teaching experience, excellent communication, and demonstrated experience in orthognathic surgery, bone regeneration, and implantology; potential for faculty appointment depending on credentials and qualifications. Opportunities exist for academic involvement commensurate with credentials. Compensation range: $124,800-$187,200, excluding on-call coverage and faculty distributions. Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- board eligible or board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
