Job Summary
Provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care including orthognathic, bone regeneration and implantology procedures; supervise and mentor oral and maxillofacial residents and students within the clinic; utilize operating room privileges to perform complex procedures; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes; participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities; opportunities for a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials and experience; outreach to promote hospital mission and community service.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- board eligible/board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
- strong clinical abilities
- teaching experience
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience in orthognathic surgery, bone regeneration and implantology
