Job Summary
Two part-time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons are sought to join the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliation with Elmhurst Hospital Center. The role focuses on orthognathic surgery, bone regeneration and implantology within an expanding team, including supervising residents and students in the clinic, utilizing operating room privileges for complex procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The candidate will participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and community service activities, with potential for a faculty appointment commensurate with credentials and experience.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- Board eligible/board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- valid New York State License
- DEA number
- Medicaid number
- strong clinical abilities
- teaching experience
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience in orthognathic surgery, bone regeneration and implantology
