Job Summary
Join Geisinger as a BC/BE Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. The role supports a full-scope academic OMFS practice with emphasis on maxillofacial trauma, dentoalveolar and implant surgery, in-office sedation, corrective jaw surgery, cleft palate, TMJ and reconstructive surgery. Opportunities exist to teach and work with residents and participate in research within a CODA-accredited program. Required qualifications include DMD/DDS or equivalent, Pennsylvania licensure, and the ability to provide patient care and recordkeeping in a clinical/office setting. Required Qualifications
- BC/BE in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or dual-degree DMD/DDS, MD
- Pennsylvania state licensure (DMD/DDS)
- Experience in teaching and research preferred
- CODA-accredited OMFS training
- Strong patient-care and procedural skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- In-office sedation capability
- Academic involvement in teaching and research
