Job Summary
Academic OMFS position at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA seeking BC/BE oral and maxillofacial surgeons to join a full-scope CODA-accredited OMFS practice. Role involves teaching residents, conducting or participating in research, and providing care across trauma, dentoalveolar and implant surgery, in-office sedation, corrective jaw surgery, cleft palate, TMJ, and reconstructive procedures. Required Qualifications
- BC/BE oral and maxillofacial surgeon
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or MD
- state of Pennsylvania license/certification
- CODA-accredited training
- teaching/research willingness
- academic appointment with teaching and mentorship
- in-office sedation capability
- experience in trauma, dentoalveolar and implant surgery
