Job Summary
Gather detailed business requirements, map them to system functionality, and conduct gap analysis for Oracle Discrete Manufacturing implementations. Lead standard solution design, proof of concept, and business process redesign while writing SQL queries to validate data and understand table structures. Manage configuration, testing, user training, and data conversion, then liaise with Oracle on service requests. Support business process implementation, change management, and UAT, ensuring accurate mapping of manufacturing modules including BOM, WIP, Quality, Inventory, Costing, MRP, and ASCP. Requires 6-8 years of hands-on implementation experience with client-facing skills and a manufacturing domain background.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience in Oracle Apps
- At least one end to end implementation, upgrade and support project experience
- Subject matter expert in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing
- Hands on experience on Bill Of Materials (BOM), Work In Process (WIP), Quality, Inventory (INV), Costing, MRP and ASCP modules
- Manufacturing domain experience
- Client facing experience
- Hands on Implementation experience in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing (BOM, WIP, Quality, INV, Costing, MRP / ASCP) that involves business requirement gathering, standard solution design, gap analysis, proof of concept, mapping the business requirement to system functionality, conduct CRP, UAT, user training and data conversion
- Able to write basic SQL queries to extract, validate data and understand tables structure and background workflows
- Liaise with Oracle on service requests
- Hands on implementation experience
- Strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written)
- Strong understanding of Oracle Manufacturing modules functionality & processes
- Ability to gather detailed business requirements and map to available tools and solutions
- Strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation
- Demonstrated conceptual and detailed functional design specification skills
- Configuration, testing, training, change management and support
- Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years
- Any Manufacturing stream / B.Tech (Mech/IT/CS)
