Job Summary
Oracle Middleware & Database Administrator needed in Pune, India to administer and support Oracle middleware and database environments across DEV/QA/UAT/Production, including WebLogic Server, Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database 19c/23c, and related integrations with banking systems and third-party vendors. Responsibilities include deployments, upgrades, patching, environment refreshes, JVM tuning, backup/recovery planning, performance tuning, security and access control, REST/SOAP web services, OHS reverse proxy configurations, and 24x7 production support. Requires Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Oracle middleware/admin experience; strong experience with Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Linux/Unix, REST/SOAP services, SSL/TLS, and related tooling. Preferred experience with Oracle RAC/Data Guard, OFSLL, monitoring tools, CI/CD pipelines, and banking/financial services domains. Office location is Pune, Maharashtra, India with in-person work; travel minimal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of Oracle middleware/application administration experience
- Strong experience with: Azure Cloud infrastructure
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Oracle Database 19c/23c
- Oracle WebLogic Server 12c/14c
- Linux/Unix Administration (Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x)
- Networking, Firewalls, ACL’s, Load balancer configuration and maintenance
- Oracle Fusion Middleware (ADF & RCU)
- Oracle JDK 1.8 / JDK 21
- SQL & PL/SQL
- Shell scripting
- REST/SOAP web services
- JDBC datasource configuration
- SSL/TLS configuration
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments and critical applications
