Job Summary
Design, build, and operate enterprise integration scenarios that connect Oracle Cloud Applications, on-premises Oracle systems, and third-party platforms using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Own the full integration lifecycle from analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support. Bring hands-on experience with OIC integrations, processes, and Visual Builder Cloud Service, and apply expertise in integration patterns, API management, and Oracle Cloud Applications data models. Responsibilities include building orchestrations, configuring OIC adapters (REST, SOAP, FTP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, and more), developing process automation with OIC Process Cloud Service, creating VBCS applications, implementing security and throttling policies, designing robust error-handling and notification patterns, optimizing high-volume integrations via batching and parallelism, migrating legacy integrations to OIC, collaborating with Oracle Cloud Applications teams, providing hypercare and post-go-live support, maintaining thorough documentation, and mentoring junior developers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Five or more years of integration experience
- Strong hands-on time in Oracle Integration Cloud
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, or CX) data models and APIs
- Experience with REST and SOAP web service development
- Working knowledge of Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Process Cloud Service
- Familiarity with API management concepts and Oracle API Platform
- Strong scripting skills (Groovy, JavaScript) and SQL
- Experience with security standards (OAuth2, SAML, mTLS)
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Prior experience migrating from Oracle SOA Suite to OIC
