Job Summary
Oracle GoldenGate Solution Engineer to design, build, and operationalize CDC pipelines across heterogeneous environments (z/OS, distributed, cloud) for near real-time data movement between platforms (e.g., DB2, Oracle → Snowflake, Kafka, Iceberg). Responsibilities include configuring Extract/Replicat/Trail, administering on-prem and AWS GoldenGate environments, monitoring latency and data consistency, partnering with DBA/Data Platform/Security teams, supporting full pipeline lifecycle, and implementing automation, observability, and CI/CD with tooling like Terraform and Splunk. Strong hands-on GoldenGate expertise, CDC pattern knowledge, and collaboration across multiple teams are required. 100% remote full-time opportunity; sponsorship not available.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate in enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of CDC patterns, replication internals, and heterogeneous data movement
- Experience supporting GoldenGate across z/OS, distributed systems, and cloud (AWS)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting replication issues, performance tuning, and ensuring data consistency
- Experience with automation, observability, and CI/CD for data pipelines
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across multiple technical teams
- Excellent documentation habits and operational discipline
