Job Summary
Gather and evaluate business requirements for Oracle HR/OAB changes, then develop, test, and implement new capabilities, customizations, or configurations. Investigate functionality, data, and interface problems to determine and implement resolutions while documenting configuration and support information per Metro IT standards. Work with business customers to identify improvements and build interfaces, data conversions, Fast-Formulas, and reports between Oracle HR, Payroll, and Benefits systems. Assist with unit, system, and user acceptance testing, orient end users, and mentor team members. This 70% technical, 30% functional role supports the development and deployment of Oracle HCMS E-Business Suite functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Oracle Applications ERP Developer experience with HR, Benefits, ESS, and MSS
- Previous experience using data loader and SQL Loader to load legacy records into Oracle
- Ability to develop complex SQL queries
- Experience with relational database management systems such as Oracle and SQL Server
- Experience with Oracle Alerts
- Experience using Oracle Reporting using Admin and User layers
- Knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports
- Expertise in Conversion and Interface programming using PLSQL
- Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of technical and business personnel
- Experience designing, developing and maintaining information technology systems
- Experience participating in project teams
- Ability to work independently, work under pressure, adapt to demanding situations and maintain schedules
