Job Summary
Manage assigned Oracle E-Business Suite Financials applications by logging and resolving support incidents via the helpdesk ticketing system, providing second and third-line support for service requests, and investigating problems to deliver solutions. Contribute to the gathering, analysis, and design of new requirements and change requests, ensuring full lifecycle testing before user acceptance. Develop and review documentation, including functional and technical designs, while providing time estimates and training users on best practices. Collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues, escalate complex matters to vendors, and maintain a knowledge base of common solutions. This role supports the FINS Service within the NATO Business Applications Centre, delivering new reporting capabilities and maintaining existing applications for finance, acquisition, and travel processes across NATO.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of recent practical experience as functional resource within Oracle E-Business Suite Financials 12.2.X, demonstrating a 24 months sustained period of performance on the previous 2 most recent assignments
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.X Financials and Purchasing applications
- Experience with General Ledger
- Experience with Accounts Payable
- Experience with Accounts Receivable
- Experience with Cash Management
- Experience with Sub-Ledger Accounting
- Experience with Fixed Assets business flows and setups
- Experience with Budget accounting
- Experience with encumbrance Accounting
- Experience with accrual accounting
- Experience of Public Sector accounting processes
- Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
