Job Summary
Install and configure Oracle databases, manage backup and recovery processes, and monitor performance to resolve bottlenecks. Implement security measures, create schemas, and support migrations and upgrades. Ensure reliability of critical data systems through proactive issue resolution and adherence to best practices. This role requires TS/SCI Full Poly clearance and U.S. citizenship. Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI Full Poly
- Full U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree
- Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Database Management, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity
- 4-5 years experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
- 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
- Expertise in Oracle database tools (e.g., RMAN, OEM)
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning
- Experience with database replication technologies
- Familiarity with data backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Ability to write and debug database scripts
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard
- Knowledge of cloud database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud)
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds)
