Job Summary
Manage Oracle PL/SQL and APEX 24.2 technical expertise for applications, BAU delivery, enhancements, and developments while serving as the primary business contact. Debug and tune PL/SQL code, write complex SQL queries, and handle ETL processing, data extraction, transformation, and loading. Provide secondary cover for other applications based on technology experience and ensure adherence to standard procedures and project life cycles. Report to the Database Manager within the Circulation Tech team supporting Marketforce's global magazine distribution operations.
Required Qualifications
- Shown experience in database development using Oracle PL/SQL
- Strong SQL writing skills and data analysis using SQLPlus/ Toad/ SQL developer
- Experience writing complex and optimal SQL queries
- Experience in debugging and performance tuning PL/SQL code
- Experience in Oracle Forms 12c (Oracle Fusion Middleware)
- Experience with ETL processing, data extraction, transform and load
- Working knowledge of partitioning and materialised views
- Must have experience of working in support environment with good problem solving and analytical skills
- Must show fluency in working within standard procedures and within a project life cycle
- Must have knowledge of database best practices
- Keen interest of database development using Oracle
- Keen in understanding the workings of an application
