Job Summary
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases while monitoring performance and optimizing queries. Manage backup and recovery processes, enforce security measures, and troubleshoot issues to ensure data integrity and availability. Create and maintain documentation, implement replication and clustering strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide improvement recommendations. Proficiency in Oracle tools, SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning is required, with cloud solutions and automation tools desired. Full TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are mandatory. Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Database Management, Systems Engineering
- 4-5 years experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in Oracle database management tools
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming
- Experience with database performance tuning
- Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques
- Understanding of data security practices
- Ability to manage database replication and clustering
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
- Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Data Guard
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell)
- Experience with database migrations and upgrades
