Job Summary
Oracle Cloud Platform Engineer (OCI) with 3–6 years of experience to build, manage, automate, and support enterprise cloud infrastructure focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Responsibilities include provisioning OCI resources (Compute, Storage, VCN, Load Balancer, DBCS, Autonomous Database), configuring OCI networking (VCN, subnets, NSGs, gateways, FastConnect, DNS), developing and maintaining Terraform/OCI Resource Manager IaC modules, automating tasks with Python/Bash/Ansible, supporting CI/CD deployments (OCI DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), monitoring with OCI Monitoring/Logging/APM and tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Dynatrace, performing routine operations (patching, backups, certificate renewals), implementing cloud security controls (IAM, MFA, Vault/KMS, encryption, Bastion, Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vulnerability Scanning), assisting migration to OCI, helping application teams deploying workloads on OCI services like OKE, WebLogic, Oracle DB, Functions, API Gateway, contributing to cost optimization and operational documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on cloud/platform engineering experience.
- Minimum 2 years of OCI experience (or strong cloud experience with demonstrable OCI exposure).
- Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and change management.
- Certifications: At least one OCI Associate certification (OCI Foundations Associate 1Z0-1085 or OCI Architect Associate 1Z0-1072 or OCI Operations Associate 1Z0-1067).
