Job Summary
Manage Oracle Cloud environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production tenancies, executing quarterly patch updates with impact assessments and post-patch validation. Administer Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) and OCI IAM, handling user provisioning, SSO integrations via SAML and OIDC, and enforcing the principle of least privilege through periodic access reviews. Configure OCI core services including VCNs, security lists, Object Storage, and Vault, while monitoring security findings from Cloud Guard and Security Advisor. Perform functional setup manager (FSM) administration for Oracle Fusion releases and manage reporting tools like OTBI and BI Publisher. Own the release management process, coordinating change windows, migrating configuration artefacts, and maintaining ITIL-aligned runbooks and SOPs. Requires 4–8 years of Oracle Cloud experience with hands-on IDCS/IAM skills and SQL proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in Oracle Cloud administration covering Fusion SaaS and/or OCI environments
- Hands-on experience with Oracle IDCS and/or OCI IAM — user management, SSO, MFA, and role administration
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion security model: application roles, data roles, abstract roles, and HCM data security profiles
- Proven experience managing Oracle Cloud environment lifecycles including patch management and environment refresh
- Familiarity with OCI core services: IAM, VCN, Compute, Object Storage, Vault, Cloud Guard
- Experience raising and managing Oracle Service Requests (SRs) via My Oracle Support (MOS)
- Working knowledge of SSO standards: SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0
- Ability to write basic SQL for data validation, user access reporting, and audit queries
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to change management and documentation
- Strong communication skills — able to engage confidently with client IT and security teams
- Proactive in identifying risks and issues before they impact delivery or operations
- Able to manage competing priorities across multiple client environments simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations, OCI Administrator, or Oracle Fusion Security Administrator
- Experience with identity governance tools or integration with enterprise IDP solutions (Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity)
- Familiarity with audit and compliance frameworks relevant to financial services: SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001, FCA guidelines
- Experience in a managed services or multi-client support environment
