Job Summary
Develop cloud-based technical architectures that meet client needs while improving mission-critical applications and products. Create advanced OCI solutions and deploy production geospatial systems from concept to operations management. Work with industry leaders to inform strategy, design standards, and ensure compliance throughout the cloud migration process. Recommend tools and solutions based on research of on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources to help clients overcome difficult challenges. Grow skills in AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry. This role supports Booz Allen's mission to advance and protect the nation using cutting-edge technologies for America's most critical priorities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software with a cloud-first development approach
- 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Experience creating advanced OCI solutions
- Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to O&M
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions, or 9+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions in lieu of a degree
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
- Experience designing solutions to enable migration from AWS to OCI
- Experience with OCI AI, ML and LLM offerings
- Experience designing OCI solutions optimized for geospatial workloads
- Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments
- Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
- OCI Certifications such as OCI Architect or OCI Developer Certifications
- IAT Level II certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certifications
