Job Summary
Oracle Applications Systems Analyst Principal responsible for supporting the Oracle EBS R12 implementation, providing day-to-day issue resolution, and implementing incremental improvements to Oracle EBS and its interfaces. Partners with Finance and business teams to design, optimize Oracle Financials (GL, AP, PO, FA, HRMS, CM, PA) and related processes. Manages deployments via ServiceNow, coordinates with developers and stakeholders, investigates production issues with Oracle Support, and identifies opportunities for new interfaces, integrations, or automation to improve efficiency and data quality. Supports data conversion/migration and contributes to long-term improvements; requires 7+ years’ experience and an Associate degree and will work Hybrid from VA locations (Herndon or Falls Church).
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Oracle EBS and/or other enterprise systems
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or a business-related field required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS data architecture within GL, AP, PO, FA, HRMS, CM, PA
- Experience with APIs and REST services for R12
- Experience with data governance and data integrity practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex multi-stakeholder projects
- Experience creating/updating MD50, MD30, MD10 documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with deployments via ServiceNow
- Experience supporting data conversion and migration activities
- Understanding of subledger accounting and interfacing with external systems
- Knowledge of data labeling and compliance standards
- Prior experience with MD10/MD30/MD50 documentation
