Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Developer / Consultant - Contract Role

Job Summary
Develop, enhance, and maintain OAS/OBIEE dashboards and reports. Design and support semantic models (RPD) and subject areas. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions. Optimize SQL queries and report performance. Support data validation, testing, and production deployments. Collaborate with data engineering and warehouse teams to ensure data quality and consistency. Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting. Work with ETL processes and data integration concepts; familiarity with cloud analytics platforms and modern BI tools; exposure to AI-enabled analytics and self-service reporting platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and/or OBIEE
- Experience developing and maintaining Analyses, Dashboards, KPIs, Agents, and BI Publisher reports
- Strong understanding of OAS/OBIEE semantic modeling (RPD), subject areas, and security implementation
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, complex joins, aggregations, and performance tuning
- Experience working with Data Warehouse environments and dimensional data models (Star/Snowflake schemas)
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL
- Experience troubleshooting reporting and performance issues
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration concepts
- Knowledge of cloud analytics platforms and modern BI tools
- Experience integrating OAS with enterprise applications and data sources
- Understanding of data governance and metadata management
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics and self-service reporting platforms
