Job Summary
Oracle Administrator responsible for planning, securing, and implementing Oracle Database Infrastructure for A1 Austria, performing performance tuning, incident management, and contributing to complex Oracle migration projects. Will implement patch strategies, create reports, conduct compliance checks, and coordinate activities with stakeholders. Collaborate with technical leads to optimize operational processes in line with ITIL inventory processes. Evaluate new Oracle features to ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs. Requires several years of experience as an Oracle DBA with solid licensing knowledge and hands-on experience across Oracle GI, RAC, ASM, ACFS, Data Guard, and migration tools. Bonus for experience with Open Source databases or MS SQL. Strong communication and a customer-oriented mindset; offers modern working environment, learning opportunities, and flexible/hybrid work options.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in an ICT environment
- Solid knowledge of Oracle Licensing
- Hands-on experience with Oracle GI, RAC, ASM, ACFS, and Data Guard
- Experience with Oracle migration technologies (RMAN, PDB Live Migration, (X)TTS, etc.)
- Experience with Oracle Backup & Restore and performance tuning
- Knowledge of Oracle Partitioning, Compression, and Parallel features
