Job Summary
Join a high-performing surgical tech team for a 12-week travel assignment in a fast-paced perioperative/operating room setting. Responsibilities include preparing and organizing sterile supplies and instruments, maintaining the sterile field, and assisting the surgeon by handing instruments during procedures. Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent (or related experience), ORT program graduate or equivalent on-the-job training with 3+ years of surgical experience, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of OR Tech experience. Travel assignment details include 12 weeks, full-time shifts, and location in Redding, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties (i.e., GYN, General and Plastics)
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro. Etc.)
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum one (1) year of OR Tech experience required
