Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific care to patients in the surgical suite, ensuring physiologic responses remain as expected. Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes while scrubbing across service lines including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Work independently as a Certified Surgical Technician on night shifts, utilizing strong communication skills to make calls and multitask effectively.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an Surgical Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Must have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be able to make calls
- Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association
- Night Shift
