Job Summary
Act as a Certified Surgical Technician under the direction of a Registered Nurse, scrubbing for robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Collaborate with surgeons and RNs to deliver patient care before, during, and after surgery while making calls and managing complex plastic cases. Maintain strong communication skills and multitask independently across diverse service lines. Work day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician certification
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 7:00 am – 3:00 pm shift
- Full Time employment status
- Availability for alternating weekends, holidays and call coverage
