Job Summary
Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to organize and administer age-specific care to patients while maintaining an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes. Scrub across service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Ensure patient physiologic responses to surgery are as expected throughout the surgical suite and perioperative division. Work independently on night shifts with full-time hours, making calls and multitasking as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an Surgical Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Must have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be able to make calls
- Must be flexible
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association
- Night Shift
- Full Time
