Job Summary
Scrub for the surgical team under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assisting surgeons and RNs in delivering patient care before, during, and after procedures. Manage service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain strong communication skills, make calls, and multitask independently while adhering to a 7:00 am – 3:00 pm day shift with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Hold a Certified Surgical Technician credential, NBSTSA certification, and current BLS Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 7:00 am – 3:00 pm shift
- Full Time employment
- Willingness to work alternating weekends, holidays and call coverage
