Job Summary
Act as a member of the surgical team under the direction of a Registered Nurse, collaborating with surgeons to deliver patient care before, during, and after procedures. Scrub across multiple service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain strong communication skills, make calls, and independently multitask while managing alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Requires Certified Surgical Technician and NBSTSA certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 7:00 am – 3:00 pm shift
- Full Time employment
- Alternating Weekends, holidays and call coverage
