Job Summary
Act as a Certified Surgical Technician under the direction of a Registered Nurse, scrubbing for robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Deliver patient care before, during, and after surgery while making calls, multitasking, and working independently. Requires 2–3 years of experience, NBSTSA certification, and current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association. Schedule includes 7:00 am – 3:00 pm shifts with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
