Job Summary
Join a high-performing surgical tech team for a 12-week travel assignment in a fast-paced perioperative/operating room setting. Responsibilities include preparing and organizing sterile supplies and instruments for assigned procedures, maintaining the sterile field throughout each case, and assisting the surgeon by handing sterile instruments and supplies as needed. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent (or related experience) and ORT training or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of OR Tech experience; certification in BLS (AHA) preferred. Position located in Redding, CA with full-time shift availability and a 12-week assignment length.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred)
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General, Plastics)
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty surgical areas (e.g., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro)
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum one (1) year of OR Tech experience required
