Job Summary
Join a high-performing surgical tech team on a 12-week travel assignment in a fast-paced perioperative/operating room setting. Prepares and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for procedures, maintains the sterile field throughout each case, and assists the surgeon by handing sterile instruments and supplies during procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred)
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General and Plastics)
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (e.g., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro, etc.)
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum one (1) year of OR Tech experience
